Dear Rice family,

You are all deeply enshrined within my prayers during this time of mourning. I have held Mr. Rice in high regard as a father figure. From his time supervising our little league pool parties to his thoughtful hand on my shoulder after a tough soccer game loss, he will be missed by me greatly. I am sorry for your loss as a family.

With sorrow,
Jim Damman

Sorry for your loss as I know he was a great man and loved by many. I can readily understand how your family must feel as I just lost my only daughter suddenly in March of this year and still feel a great emptiness in my life. May your memories sustain you.

So sorry to hear that "Skip" has passed - I used to baby sit with him as I lived next door as kids and knew his family well! Great kid and from what I read - a great father, husband, citizen, service man & pastor!! Welcome to the arms of God and your heavenly home!!! Janice

Condolences. So many enjoyable gatherings our families shared. "Skip" helped an entire summer with construction of the Nielson's house. Hugs from afar to Sue, Becky, Andy, Judy & Heather.

Uncle Skip: His optimism, his strength, his protection, his pride. These are good things to remember.
In teaching us how to live, he also taught us how to die. With dignity, peace, and strength, humility.
I love my uncle. He was a great man. He was one of my greatest teachers and one of the greatest spiritual influences in my life.
I am blessed , for having known him and to have spent time with him. We are blessed because we know where he is going.
He has a savior, he loves his God, our Heavenly Father.
He was one of my best friends.
I don't say this because we got to hang out all the time; because in later years we didn't get to. I say this, because he was always in my court. Always speaking the best of me, always encouraging me, always sharing whatever he had with me,whether it be his home, or his possessions or his family, his faith, or his most precious of things, his time. I love you Uncle Skip and I love your family! Deepest condolences Aunt Sue, Becky, Andy, Eileen, Hannah and Emma, & Mom (Judy). Patty,Kendrick, Karen, Aunt Eva and Uncle Bert too. You are in my heart prayers and sympathy go out to all of you.
