Velta was a longtime resident of Hartland, Michigan, but recently moved to the Village of Fowlerville in the years before her passing. She enjoyed making memories with her family, whether she was showing off her dance moves in the kitchen or helping plant the annual flowers and vegetables for the garden.
She will be remembered for her compassion in helping others and her love for reading. In lieu of sending flowers, please either make a donation to your local library, literacy program, or plant a flower in her memory. A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer in honor of Velta.
Through times of grief, there is one thing that Velta would want her loved ones to know, “Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with their heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.” – by Rumi
