Shirley Mae (Tinsley) Smith

Shirley Mae Tinsley-Smith, age 83 died August 21, 2023 surrounded by family in East Lansing, Michigan. Shirley was raised on a farm in Fowlerville Michigan and married Claude Smith in 1957 also of Fowlerville. Shirley loved to play Bingo, watching local professional sports, spending time with family, especially at reunions and holiday gatherings, watching games shows, and shopping. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents William and Nannie Tinsley, seven siblings, as well as granddaughter, Tara Swain, and Grandson, Walter (Lee) Wager. Shirley is survived by her Sister, Barbara Vercruysse, and Brother, Norm Tinsley, Children, Sherry (Fred) Sevic, Holli (Jim) Galovich, and Scott (Leigh Ann) Smith, Granddaughter, Randi (Eddie) Korot, Grandson, William Sevic, Great Grandson, Ari Korot, as well as many Nieces, Nephews, and Great Nieces and Great Nephews. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, 11 am at Greenwood Cemetery in Fowlerville, Michigan with services provided by Herrmann Funeral Home of Fowlerville.
