Pamela Davis-Omer Obituary

Pamela Anne Davis-Omer passed away February 7, 2021 at home surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer.
Pamela was born November 24, 1967 to Adrian and Mary Memro in Lansing, MI. Pam grew up on a small farm in Webberville, enjoying life in a small town that she said she wouldn’t have traded for anything. As a young adult she enjoyed ice skating, tabogganing, traveling all over the United States, spending time on Thornapple lake with her parents and family, and playing basketball in the barn. Pam was preceded in death by her father Adrian Memro, and son-in-law Joseph Leahy.
Pam is survived by her mother, Mary Memro of Webberville, MI; husband, Harold “Jimmy” Omer; daughter Collette (Nicholas) Simons of South Lyon, MI; sons Robert (Jessica Savage) Davis of Webberville, MI and Chad (Desiree Morris) Davis of Perry, MI; Sister Mary Lander and Brother Thomas (Laurie) Lander of Webberville, MI and  Brother James (Lori) Lander of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren Elizabeth and Ada; Step-grandchildren Aidan, Donna-Mae, Dana, and Bella; and extended and former family members as well as many nieces and nephews; especially Leslie Weems Trisha Rogers, who Pam not only considered them her nieces but like sisters and best friends.
Pam enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking for her family, playing cards like Hand and Foot, attending children and grandkids’ sporting events, traveling especially to her favorite place Siesta Key and taking adventures, antique shopping, swimming, watching MSU sports, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Pam was loved by so many, she was a people person and her laugh was contagious. She was an insurance agent most of her adult life but first she was a wife and mother, always putting her family’s needs above her own.
To say she will be missed is a gross understatement. “A Mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take.” - Cardinal Meymillod
