Nancy Ceane (Sexton), a resident of Fowlerville, passed away on Wednesday the 29th of May in her home at the age of 89. Nancy was born on January 4th, 1930 in Detroit, to James and Nellie Sexton. She was one of nine children. She married Frank Ceane on August 14, 1950 and together they had five children: Frank (Pat), Chris (Janice), Kevin (Jane), Kathleen (Bob), Ann (Richard). Nancy was also the proud grandmother of Frank (Brook), Brian (Lindsey), Rhonda, Christopher (Lauren), Michael, Nicholas, Stephanie (Jarrod), Andrea (Jon), Matt, Kyle (Kelsey), Sarah, and Noelle (Kyle). She also had six great-grandchildren. Nancy attended the Sacred Heart of Roseville through the twelfth grade. After 22 years of employment she retired from General Motors, Fisher Body. Some of her favorite activities included sewing, cooking and shopping. She also enjoyed spending her summers at her cottage on the lake. Nancy cared for everyone and she touched the lives of all who knew her, she will forever be missed.Nancy is proceeded in death by her parents, brothers Jim and Tom, sister Kathleen, brother-in-law Andy, sister-in-law Rose, and grandsons, Matthew and Nicholas. The celebration of Nancy's life will begin on Friday, May 31st from noon-8 pm at the Herrmann Funeral Home (1005 E Grand River, Fowlerville, MI 48836). An additional visitation will be held Saturday, June 1st beginning at 10 am. The service will be given by Pastor Donald O'Guinn, beginning at 11 am and a graveside prayer will immediately follow at the Pinckney Cemetery. Afterward we invite friends and family to a luncheon served in honor of Nancy at Zukey Lake Tavern (5011 Girard Dr, Pinckney, MI 48169).
