Marian Alice (Joys) Russell

Marian Alice (Joys) Russell, age 88, of Fowlerville, MI passed away on February 13, 2022.

She was born on March 9, 1933 in Iosco Township, MI to the late John Joys and Muriel (Bugard) Joys.  She married Calvin Bruce Russell of Fowlerville on September 28, 1951.  Marian was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, watching the birds outside, cross-stitching, reading Amish books and doing puzzles with family members.  She also loved playing cards, watching Hallmark movies, coloring and doing word searches.

After many years of hard work raising eight children and working on the farm, she retired to Florida with her husband.  The last few years she resided back in Michigan surrounded by all her children and grandchildren.

Marian is survived by seven children, Joan Bebee, Nancy (Rob) Firebaugh, Tom (Mary Beth) Russell, Denny Russell (Tammy Block), Sue Russell, Yvonne Simonyi, and Mike (Tina) Russell.  She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Bruce and daughter Cathy.
