On Tuesday, January 25, Kenneth Frank Was, beloved brother, passed away at his home in Howell, MI. He was seventy-two. Born to Frank and Emily, Kenneth graduated from Cooley High School in Detroit. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Clinical Pediatric Technician Specialist, where he held the rank of staff sergeant. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Science degree as a Physician Assistant. He was a board certified Physician Assistant, and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He loved working in this role for his entire career.
Ken was a good hockey player in his youth and liked other activities such as racquetball and hiking along the Cass River. He is survived by his brother, Gary. Per Ken’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
