Karen Knickerbocker, 63, passed away unexpectedly at her home on November 16, 2022. She was a wonderful partner and beloved wife of 24 years to Kevin, a thoughtful, one of a kind mother to her only son Kyle. Karen touched everybody in her own special way either with her wonderful smile, strawberry jelly, or her world’s famous banana bread. Everyone loved her banana bread. She was known for being the head cook of family events. Karen made the first move on her then future husband Kevin by introducing herself with her phone number written down on a sticky note. The sticky note opened the door to the love of her life and many years of happiness. She always put her family and friends first before her own needs. She had a passion for helping others in need. Whether it was providing food, donations, or gifts for people in need. If Karen wasn’t at a monster truck show with her family she was in the garden, picking and canning vegetables, reading a book, collecting seeds, lawn mowing, or cooking. She also loved hummingbirds, eagles, and wind chimes. She worked in the electronics assembly industry for 32 years. After giving birth to her son Kyle she decided to create K2 Circuits to be a stay at home working Mom. She owned and operated K2 Circuits for 22 years building electronic turnkey assemblies. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and her extended Monster Truck family. Donations may be made in Karen’s memory to the International Monster Truck Museum Hall of Fame in Butler, IN.
