Joseph Robert Alessandrini passed away peacefully on May 5, 2020. Joseph was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 19, 1948 to Joseph Arthur and Doris June (McArdel) Alessandrini. Joseph was raised with his siblings, Paul (Marcia), Gary (Melanie), Susan Huett (Mark), in Levittown, PA. Joseph moved to Michigan in 1977 and Michigan became his home. Joseph was a computer programmer until his retirement in 2012. His hobbies included radio controlled airplanes, photography, astronomy, fishing, kayaking, metal detecting, bourbon and cigars, and 3D printing just to name a few. Joseph’s current obsession was Space X and Tesla!! In 1978 Joseph married Janice Renwick, whom he leaves behind, along with his step-daughter Lorraine (Tony) Ritchie, grandchildren Stephanie McFarlane (Alex Roddenberg), Cullen Ritchie (Dominique Leonetti), great grandchildren Brayden and Grace and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Joseph will be missed greatly by family and friends.
