James Frederick Haller, Sr. 81, passed away peacefully on May 15th, 2023 with his family by his side and surrounded by love.
James was one of four brothers born to Ralph and Martha Haller. He grew up in Lewiston and graduated from Atlanta High School where he met and married Shirley Kamen (17years) and had four children, Janette (Fred) Howard, Jacqueline Haller, Pamela (Johon) Beach, James Jr. (Julie) Haller where the family resided in Oakland County. Jim was employed at General Motors for 39 years.
Jim went on to marry Barbara Shafer-Burnie and would have celebrated 42 years of marriage on June 14th. Jim had three step children Debora Klickner, Karen Burnie, Terry (Lynda) Burnie. Jim and Barb resided in Webberville, MI and had a large church family at the First Baptist Church of Fowlerville.
James was also the beloved grandfather of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In his young years Jim had a passion for rebuilding and painting cars and after retirement he started collecting lawn tractors and doing the same.
James was pre-deceased by his mother and father, and brother Bob and survived by his brothers Edward and Joseph (Bonnie) Haller.
