Gerald "Jerry" Zub Obituary

Gerald “Jerry” Zub, age 45, of Webberville, Michigan, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021, following a brief illness. Born April 28, 1976 in Livonia, Michigan to John and Karen Zub, Jerry grew up the middle of three brothers. An avid sports enthusiast, he spent much of his time playing, watching, and studying all sports, with an extra love for baseball. A committed and devoted family man, Jerry’s family always came first. A loving husband, adoring father, and an exceptional son, brother, uncle, & cousin, he lived for family time, anxiously awaiting every holiday gathering or reunion. He knew how to make people laugh with his dry, sarcastic humor and his loyalty made him a friend to many. Jerry was a strong man of faith. He loved sharing his testimony and was especially gifted at ministering to youth. He spent much of the past 20+ years of his life planting seeds of faith in many young adults. His legacy of faith will be far-reaching.  Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Jaima (Hazelton) Zub and his three children, daughter Riley (14), son Camden (10), and daughter Reagan (8); his devoted parents John and Karen Zub of Redford, MI; brothers John (Blanca) Zub of Wyoming, MI and Gregg Zub of Fenton, MI; mother-in-law Pam Hazelton of Salineville, OH; sister-in-law Jenna (Justin) Allender of Salineville, OH; 5 nieces, 3 nephews, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Arrangements have been entrusted to Herrmann Funeral Home in Fowlerville, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family ℅ Jaima Zub, 3076 Avonlea Knoll Way, Webberville, MI 48892.
