Gary Robert Foreman, age 82, of Fowlerville, formerly of Detroit, MI passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at his home. Per Gary’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, in Gary’s memory.

Gary was born in Detroit, MI on April 5, 1941, son of the late Orris and Dilys (Jones) Foreman. He graduated from Redford Union High School in 1960. Following high school, Gary proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He received his Journeyman and machine repair cards. He then joined the Detroit Fire Department as a firefighter for over 30 years. Gary formerly enjoyed taking flying lessons, flying Piper and Cessna aircraft. Gary was a member of the American Legion and was a Master Mason Shriner.

Gary is survived by his children, Natalie Willman and Conrad (Angela) Foreman; grandchildren, Adam Litwin, Amanda Powers, Bailee Foreman and Aubree Foreman; great-grandchildren, Ayries and Aaliyah Litwin; sister, Carol (Robert) Cassie; niece and nephew, Robert (Julie) Cassie and Susan Cassie; great-nieces and nephews, Grant, Taylor, Trevor and Carys; significant other, Donna Rothermel.
