Frederick E. Palmer

Frederick E. Palmer, age 78, of Fowlerville passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at his home, with his family by his side.  He was Born on September 4, 1940 in Conway Township to Ernest and Gladys (Disbrow) Palmer.  Fred was a 1958 graduate of Fowlerville High School, and was employed by Electric Apparatus Company in Howell as a machine operator for many years.  He married Bonnie Lou Tamlyn on January 20, 1959 and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage and raised 2 sons and 2 daughters.  Over the years Fred enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a love for reading. 

He is survived by his wife Bonnie, Sons Ernest (Colleen) Palmer, Andrew Palmer, and 2 daughters, Julie (Dave) Laube and Susan (Steve) Pretty.  Grandchildren, Chris, Nicole, Chandler, Jenn, Katrina, lily and Rose.  

He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest (1945 in the war) and Gladys (1998), Stepfather Gerald Throne (2001), and 1 brother Kenneth Throne (2016)

The family was served by PJ Herrmann funeral home in Fowlerville.  Services will be held Friday August 23, 2019, 11:00 am at the Greenwood Cemetery in Fowlerville with Chaplain Janine McGill officiating.
