Floyd Hotelling Obituary

Floyd George Hotelling  Oct. 6, 1933- Sept. 11, 2021 

    After graduation George joined the National Guard where he was stationed in Lansing.  Over the years he wore many different hats.   He was  mechanic, a  cab driver, had a gas station, taught gun safety, archery club, retired from Howell Schools, worked for the Livingston County Juvenile Court as a transporter, tether tech, and foster parent.  

     He enjoyed playing Euchre at the senior center, fishing, riding motorcycle in his younger days, and watching his sons and grandson wrestle. 

     Preceded in death in death by his parents Anna and Floyd Hotelling and his daughter Laurie Hotelling.  He is survived by his wife Mary Hotelling, his children Greg, Duane, Michael (Michelle), and Tina (George Hook).   His brother James (Shirley) and  sister Janice. His grandkids Mecheel, Alyssa, Courtney, George III,   Shawn, Aubrianna, Haliey, and Alexis, great grandkids Nicole, Samantha, Damien, David, Jasper, and Nathaniel.  Several nieces and nephews.  

In Lieu of flowers donations to the family for burial expenses and to the Senior Center.
