Elizabeth Ann (DeTroyer) Hune

Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Hune age 86, passed away June 5, 2020. Born July 9, 1933 in Wayne, MI to Lawrence and Ella (Sessions/Shier) DeTroyer.  She was employed by The State of Michigan, first at Hillcrest State Hospital and then transferred to Northville State Hospital where she happily retired after 25+ years of service. Betty’s passions included collecting treasures from garage sales, beautiful flower gardens, and spending time with her sewing machine. She is survived by her children, David (Kim) Hune, Linda (Perry) Donaldson, Laura (Matt) Shreve, Andrew Hune, and brother John (Kris) DeTroyer, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Mario Hune, granddaughter Sara Donaldson and brother Lawrence (Larry) DeTroyer. A graveside visitation will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Fowlerville on June 10, 2020 at 10:00 with graveside service to be held immediately after at 11:00.  A special thank you to Peggy Geer and everyone at Geer Adult Foster Care for all of their loving care.
