Dorothy (Spagnuolo) Capurro passed away in Tucson, Arizona. She was 90 years of age.
She was born in Fowlerville, Michigan to George and Ellen Spagnuolo, business owners and manufacturers of ice cream and candies.
During her life, she was a mother, wife, teacher, Northwest Airlines stewardess, payroll clerk at the 1984 Summer Olympics, and for a short time a travel agent.
Dorothy's interests besides teaching and traveling included reading, playing the piano, studying languages and caring for the birds. She will be especially remembered for her talent for writing simple poetry that she rediscovered in the last few of years of her life. Dorothy was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Tucson, AZ. She was also a member of the Marion Club at St. Thomas.
