Colleen Renee (Hutton) Bain

Colleen R. (Hutton) Bain passed peacefully into the arms of her Saviour September 20, 2022 after a 5 year battle.

Colleen was born to Charles (Lee) and Sally Ann Hutton on October 13, 1958.  Colleen married George W. Bain and they raised two children Krysta Beth Bain Rinz (who preceded her in death) and Michael Bain who was one of her committed caregivers.  Colleen was also preceded in death by her mother, Sally Ann Hutton-Aman.  She is survived by her dutiful husband an amazing caregiver, son Michael, father Charles(Lee) Hutton, stepmom Karen Hutton, MIL. Joyce Bain, sister Linda and Jim Duncan, brother David Hutton and her pride and joy granddaughters Taylor, Emily and Brooklyn Rinz and son in law Steve Rinz. 

Colleen will also be missed by many nieces, nephews cousins and in-laws.   

Colleen worked for Mann Lumber and served her clients with humor and dedication.  She also assisted George in his BBQ business after Bain Packing closed. 

Colleen loved quilting, gardening, her dogs and sharing life and laughter with family and friends.  Colleen is now in the arms of her loving Saviour, her guide since childhood. 

Memorial service will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 at Calvary Bible Church 1389 Elm Street Cohoctah, Michigan.  Viewing will be from 10:30 to noon.  Service will follow visitation.

The family has requested donations to the Calvary Baptist Church or the family in place of flowers.
