Obituary

On March 2, 2023, Cheryl Kay Maczorowski died at Henry Ford Hospital, in downtown Detroit, after a long battle with liver failure. She was 70 years old. Cheryl is survived by her three children, Richard Turner Jr., Christa Turner, Rebecca Maczorowski; two grandchildren, Malik Turner and Taliyah Turner; and siblings Michael and Kathy Powell of Truro IA. David and Daria Norris of Durand MI. Jim and Marge Norris of Grand Blanc MI. Greg and Lisa Norris of Swartz Creek MI. Aunt, Sandra and Dale Hooker of Mio MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Powell of Byron MI and Irmalee and Edward Norris of Flint MI. Grandparents, Gerald and Lena Noblitt of Grand Blanc MI.  Born on May 19, 1952, in Flint Michigan. Cheryl graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1970. She went on to attend some classes at Lansing Community College as well as Baker college of Owosso. She worked in retail and as a care giver most of her life.  Cheryl loved her family more than anything. She was a free spirit that lived life with love in her heart. There will not be a day that goes by that she will not be missed. A celebration of life for our beloved Grammie is scheduled for May 20, 2023 with time and location to be announced at a later date.
