Brenda Kay Brown

Age 69, passed away on Feb, 1, 2020. Brenda was born on July 28, 1950 to Louise Brown and Richard Brown, Sr. in Lansing, Mi.  She retired from the Ingham County Medical Care Facility after working there many years. Upon retiring, she lovingly cared for her mother until her passing in 2004. Brenda always had a love for music especially watching local bands perform. She also enjoyed making large meals to share with neighbors. Brenda cared deeply for her family and was always a true and devoted friend to many. She never had much, but was always willing to share what she did have and didn’t like asking for any help.  Brenda was predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Russell Brown, Richard “Rick” Brown Jr. and Thomas “Tommy” Brown. She is survived by her sister Helen Rebecca “Becky” Brown of Pinckney, nephews, Dana (Erin) Brown of Coldwater, Josh Brown of Grand Ledge and several nieces and nephews. Brenda is also survived by many friends but deeply missed by special and long time friends, Beth Davis, Cathy Ward and Shirley Samson.  There will be a memorial luncheon to celebrate Brenda’s life on Saturday, March 7th at 2:00pm at the Williamston Eagles Aerie 4091, 835 High St, Williamston.
