Auburn Glenn Buckner

Auburn (Burny) Glen Buckner, 61, passed away on Sunday August 9th. Burny was born on February 16, 1959 the son of the late George Gilbert and Ruth (Foster) Buckner. Burny graduated from Howell High School in 1978.  Burny is survived by six sibling. Gerald (Debbie) Buckner of Colorado, Janet Vergin of Howell, Andrew (Mary) Buckner of Howell, Margaret Koronka of Brighton, Marth Meddaugh of Portage and Karen Buckner of Florida.  He was proceeded in death by two sibling, Kathryn and George Gary.  He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Burny was a metal fabricator for many years.  He like to go camping and fishing up-north with our mother all summer and fall.  He also help mom with her big garden each year. He spent many evening with the men group in bible study or helping church members at the Place of Refuge, Burny also volunteered many hours at the Hidden Springs Church in Howell with the food ministry. I memorial service will be held the end of August 2020 at the Place of Refuge Ministries in Fowlerville with Pastor Bob officiating.Memorial contributions are suggested to the Place of Refuge in Fowlerville, 6909 E Grand Riv, Fowlerville, MI 48836.
