Ann Kathleen Adams (Duby), often referred to as "Honey" passed away at the age of 88 on July 25, 2023, in Fowlerville, Michigan, at the home of her oldest son and surrounded by family.
Ann was born in Detroit, Michigan, on February 22, 1935, to Arthur and Gertrude Duby. She was the youngest of four siblings who preceded her in death: William Berlinger, Francis Berlinger, Louise Frydrych, Richard Duby, and her husband, Roy Adams.
In 1953, she graduated from Saint Mary’s High School in Wayne, Michigan. As a child, she enjoyed riding bikes with her best friend Mary-Ann, cooking with her mother and sister, and creating macramé. Her brother William often referred to her as "honey" because she was so sweet and kind to everybody. Ann had a love for western movies, music, books, and anything sweet like ice cream or pudding.
Shortly after high school, she became employed at the Grand Trunk Western Railroad Company in Detroit, Michigan. A couple years later, she met her beloved husband, Roy Adams, and the two became husband and wife at Saint Mary’s Church on August 24th, 1957.
She will truly be missed by her children, Cary (Annette), Larry (Terri), and Kevin (Jackie) Adams. Ann was loved by her many grandchildren: Savannah (Nick) Martin, Brandon, Jacob, Tricia (Adam) Rolph, Dylan Villerot, Alyssa, Kayla Villerot, Chelsie (Austin) McBride, and Katie Adams.
Ann was so proud to become a great-grandmother to seven great grandchildren, Kaleb, Maddison, Aliza, Taytum, Peyton, Oliver, and Waylon. The children often added an extra "great" because of how much she loved and spoiled them.
There will be a service and graveside committal on Saturday, July 29th, at 11 a.m. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 25800 West Ten Mile Road, Southfield, MI 48075.
