Shirley Jean Bebee

Shirley Bebee passed away January 29, 2018. Born February 1, 1932 in Adrian, MI to Robert H. and Dora (Gilbert) Love.  She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert E. Love and is survived by sister Lillian (Love) Hoag and brother William Love.  Loving mother of Robert (Joni) Bebee, Steven (Patty) Bebee and Wendy (Jerry) Baker.  Loving grandmother of 6 grandchildren – Ben (Lisa) Bebee, Brandy Bebee, Joshua Bebee, Aaron Bebee, Amber (Tony) Baker-Malinowski, Shannon Baker and 2 step-grandchildren Tonya (Erik) Utley-York and Jason Utley.  Blessed with six great-grandchildren.

Shirley graduated from Saline High School in 1950, loved being a SHS band majorette and racing down Ann Arbor-Saline Road during school lunch breaks for ice-cream from Washtenaw Dairy.  She retired in 1993 from D & C in Stockbridge, MI as a secretary.  Shirley loved spending time with family, crocheting, word puzzles, gardening and would never turn down a chocolate shake, red licorice or anything that was colored purple.

We celebrated Shirley’s life on February 3, 2018.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Mercy Home Care & Hospice (Farmington Hills, MI).
