Ruth A. (Stevens) Coll

Ruth A. Stevens Coll, 89, passed away in Howell, MI on Sunday, January 7 2018.  She was born in Wellesley, Massachusetts, taught school in Massachusetts, Michigan, and Florida, and retired in 1994.  She lived in Interlachen, Florida for 32 years.

Her activities and volunteer work in Florida included Faith Baptist Church in Interlachen, Putnam County Genealogical Society, Alpha Delta Gamma Teachers Sorority, Putnam County Retried Educators Association, Crestwood Nursing Home and Haven Hospice.  Ruth enjoyed traveling and spending time with her Miniature Schnauzers.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard (2002) and is survived by her children Karen (Steve) Schafer and Kenneth (Karla) Coll, Grandchildren Shannon (Robert) Dunbabin, Heidi (Andy) Dietz, and Christian (Christy) Schafer, and Great Grandchildren David and Daniel Dunbabin, Anna and Michael Dietz and Nicholas, Brendon and Ella Schafer.
