Ronald W. Sampey

Ronald William Sampey of Fowlerville passed away December 8, 2018.  Ron was born on December 24, 1937 to Dale and Geraldine Sampey. On August 30, 1957 Ron married the love of his life Donna. They were married for 52 years until her passing in 2010.  Ron was a loving Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. Ron was an engineer and retired from work in 2002. He loved playing softball with the church, jogging, golfing, and racquetball. He loved the Lord and that was evident in his life. He was very active with the church and always volunteered when he could.His 5 children survive Ron: Dennis (Liza) Sampey, Diane (Joe) Garlow, Tim (Mary) Sampey, Bob (Heather) Sampey, and Dan. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive him. His wife Donna Louis Sampey, his son Ronald Stephen Sampey, his sisters Shirley Justice and Sharon Corser, and his parents Dale and Geraldine precede him in death.  Visitation and funeral services will be held at Herrmann Funeral Home in Fowlerville, visitation will be from 2-8 on Tuesday December 11, 2018, visitation 10-11 on Wednesday December 12, 2018 with the service beginning at 11. Internment will follow at the Sanford Cemetery.
