Marlene (Coffey) McClure

Julina Marlene McClure, age 67 of Brighton Michigan passed away on Sunday October 7th, 2018, peacefully at her home, after a long illness. She was born February 26, 1951 in Howell, Michigan to Orville and Julina Coffey. She married the love of her life, David McClure in 1968. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, David McClure, children, David (Amy) McClure, Crystal Hollnagel and 5 grandchildren, Katherine, Connor, Devon, Carson and Brianna. She is also survived by sisters Frances Ray, Daune Utley, Mary Burns and brother Benjamin Coffey along with several nieces, nephews and foster children.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Orville Delose Coffey and parents Orville and Julina Coffey.

She opened her home to mentor foster children and dedicated her life to family and friends. She was our rock, a selfless, loving, beautiful soul. She will be tremendously missed and fondly remembered for always a kind word and a bright smile.  She will forever hold a special place in everyone’s heart.

Please come celebrate her life with us! Visitation will be held at Herrmann Funeral Home 1005 E. Grand River Fowlerville, MI 48836 on Thursday October 11th from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Services will be held at the Nazarene Church 8040 Country Corner Drive Fowlerville, MI 48836 on Friday October 12th at 11 am with visitation at 10 am.
