Lyle Roy Glover

Lyle Roy “L. Roy” Glover, 82, died September 4, 2018 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital-Chelsea. He was born November 13, 1935 in Handy Township to Lyle and Ruth (Saum) Glover. He married Laureen Bohnet on January 22, 1956. She preceded him in death on November 9, 2003. He was also preceded in death by: his parents; 2 sisters,Bonnie Redinger and Donnie Grover; and brother, Kenneth Glover. He graduated from Fowlerville High School in 1954. He owned his own dairy farm which he retired from in 2003. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family/friends. He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge #164 of Fowlerville. He is survived by: 2 sons, Mitchell (Nancy) Glover and Marshall Glover; 1 daughter, Tammie (Jim) Byars; 3 granddaughters, Kelsey (Ken) Sabol, Lauren Byars, and Meghan Byars; and 2 grandsons, Jared Byars and Peter Glover. He is also remembered by friend Janet Bartlett. Please join his family at Herrmann Funeral Home for visitation on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 9am – 1pm. Funeral services willbe held following the visitation at 1pm with Pastor Tom Tarpley officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Lodge #164-Memorial Scholarship Fund.
