Leslie J. Hansen, age 81 of Howell Michigan passed away on Tuesday September 25, 2018. He was born August 9, 1937 in Council Bluff, Iowa to Victor and Mary Hansen. He is survived by his wife Rita (Miller), 5 children, Leslie (Jake) Aills, Carol Hollenbeck, Sarah Ferweda, Rebecca (David) Marlow, Michael Moffat and 4 stepchildren Cindy (Jeff) Grigg, David (Tami) Sarniak, Jill (Gerry) Rickelmann, and Judi Davenport. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.Les is survived by 3 brothers, Duane (Sue) Hansen, Merlin Hansen, and 1 sister, Mary Lou Sell, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Donald Hansen. Les served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959. He worked for 32 years at Abe’s Auto Glass in Howell. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing in his beloved Triangle Lake. Graveside services will be held October 21, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Green Cemetery, Pingree Road, Howell, Mi. The family has requested no flowers. Memorials can be made to the Howell Nature Center, 1005 Triangle Lake Road, Howell MI or LACASA, 2895 West Grand River, Howell, MI.
