Gary Charles Schulz

Gary Charles Schulz (“Herbie”), age 69 of Fowlerville,  died April 17, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his parents Charles A. and Simone Agnes Schulz.  He is survived by his wife, Denise Schulz, stepchildren Jeff Pomorski (Noel) and Kaelin Pomorski (Kevin Laniewicz), grandchildren Jessica Wegienka, Jeremiah and Jacob Thomson and great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his brother, David Schulz, and sister’s Mary Fleming and Carol Schulz. He worked for International Paper Company in Howell for many decades.   Upon retirement, he and his wife, Denise owned and operated Angel’s Café, a successful restaurant in Webberville.  After the sale of the restaurant, he found time to enjoy his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was a gentle, kind and friendly soul that loved piloting his small plane, touring on his motorcycle and sharing a conversation over a good cup of coffee.  He will be missed.  Please join the family for visitation on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral service Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Herrmann Funeral Home.
