Preceded in death by his biological grandfather Gunars Laimonis, cousin Kylie Hedelius, great uncle Jimmy Sundboom, and second cousin Steve Sundboom. Erik, a freshman at Fowlerville High School, was a proud member of the Fowlerville Junior Varsity soccer and baseball programs. In addition to his passion for competition, he enjoyed the company of his friends, teachers and coaches, and found great pleasure in finding the humor in any situation. In lieu of flowers, Erik’s family asks that donations be made to support his love of the Fowlerville soccer and baseball sports programs by way of Chase Bank, Fowlerville or Howell branches. Additionally, donations may also be made online at: www.gofundme.com/erik-laimonis-memorial-fund. If a monetary donation isn’t your preference, feel free to verbally donate Erik’s catch phrase “That’s debatable” in any conversation in which someone states a fact that you disagree with. In either case, Erik would be honored, as would his family.
