Eric Andre Videcoq

It is with great sadness that the family of Eric Andre Videcoq of Rochester Hills, Michigan (recently moved to Fowlerville) announces his passing after his illness due to liver cancer, on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the age of 65 years. Eric is survived his mother Alice, wife of 32 years, Katherine Wolfe Videcoq and his loving children from his first wife, Kathleen, daughter, Laura (Scott) Spaulding and daughter, Amy Videcoq, stepdaughter, Michelle (Raymond) Burr and stepson, Michael (Jo) Wolfe. Eric will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Makayla, Kyle, Mikey, Daniel, Joshua, and Makenzie, also by his brother Reynald (Louise) Videcoq and his nephews Gerald Videcoq and Paul (Kathryn) Videcoq. Eric was predeceased by his father Charles Videcoq. Eric was born on April 2, 1952 to parents Charles and Alice in France. He proudly became a United States Citizen in 1977. Eric worked for Visteon and Chrysler and retired from Ford.  He loved his wife and family and loved all his pets dearly.  His hobbies were his love of cars and all his different gadgets.  The family would like to thank the hospice nurses, social workers, especially Rich, and the staff at Willows Nursing Home (Howell, MI) for Eric’s care in his final days. 
The family of Eric Videcoq cordially invites you to mourn his death cheerfully directly after the service at a dutch treat luncheon in his honor at Great Lakes Family Restaurant, 963 S. Grand Ave. (Fowlerville Rd.), Fowlerville, MI 48836 (near freeway) by paying for your own lunch in lieu of flowers.   Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Humane Society or to Eric’s widow to help with expenses.  Thank you.
