Eloise Ferne (Auty) Reed

Eloise Ferne Reed age 94 of Brighton passed away on October 27, 2018 at home surrounded by her close family. She was born to Gilbert and Anna (Mahaffy) Auty on July 23, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan.  She married Edward A. Reed on October 18, 1952, he proceeded her in death on July 30, 2012.  She loved to travel the world with her husband where they visited many countries.  Eloise also had a love for the water, living on the lake and taking pontoon rides with her grandchildren.  Studying her bible daily and loved to speak the word of God. She is survived by her children: Keith (Lynn) Reed, Dale Reed, Cynthia (Patrick) Hofmann, John (Patty) Bishop, Sue (Terry) Rushing, Tom (Jan) Elston and Dale (Earlene) Brock; 16 grandchldren and 27 great grandchildren.  A special thank you to David, Sarah, Dylan, Kiersten and Bella for the love and daily care they provided Eloise the past five years so that Eloise could live in her home for her remaining years of her life as she had requested.
