Edward A. Schings

Edward Alton Schings, age 85, went to his eternal home in Heaven on Thursday, February 15, 2018. He was a beloved and valued parishioner of St. Agnes Church in Fowlerville, MI. He was a member of the Armed Services and served in the Korean War and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. He is predeceased by his wife, Joann Schings, brother, Charles Schings, sisters, Helen Robideau and Sue Kenny. Ed is survived by his children, Jeanette Oliva, Carol (Stuart) Willits, Barbara (Kerry) Appolson, Ron Schings, two sisters, Margaret (Peggy) Lewis and Avolene Kohllman, 13 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his dear friend, Candace Hartson, and beloved furry companion, Brandy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Residential Hospice or Woodlands Cancer Center in Brighton, MI.
