Darlene Frances Parchman of Fowlerville, MI passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on September 29, 2019 at 66 years old. She was born on January 12, 1953, in Detroit, MI to birth parents William and Helen Szenas, although was raised by her Poppy and Aunts in Dearborn, MI. Darlene graduated from Fordson High School in 1971. She was known for her caring, compassionate personality whether it was waitressing at Conner’s restaurant for over 10 years or catering to local school children as a lunch lady. She had a well-known love for Barbie, teddy bears, and especially Elvis, her favorite song “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You”; although she loved nothing more than her closely cherished family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Michael Joe Parchman, as well as her dear children James (Nicole) Borovsky, Joseph (Tracey) Parchman, and Jill Parchman. Darlene loved being a grandmother to her grandsons Rylie, Austin, and Landon. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday October 3 at Herrmann Funeral Home, 1005 E Grand River Ave, in Fowlerville. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the service time at 11:30 a.m.
