Burnett Russell Lillard

Burnett Russell Lillard, 90, of Poplar Grove, IL passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at his home. Son of the late Clarence and Lillian (Ezelle) Lillard he was born on Monday, August 15, 1927 in Albany, NY. He married the love of his life, Phyllis Wagner, on Friday, November 10, 1950 in Webberville, MI. Burnett worked as a heavy equipment operator for RL Coolsaet for many years. He is loved and will be missed by his son, Russell (Chris) Lillard; daughters, Judy Proffitt, Susan (Randy) Hall, Gina (Richard) Selkow, Karen (Paul) Blankenbeckley; grandchildren, Carl, Michelle, Ashley, Allison, Stephanie, Ryan, Bradley, Russ, Nicole; 10 great grandchildren; nephews, Donald Sipele, John (Cindy) Sipele. He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, and his sister, Delores Sipele.  A memorial fund has been established in the family’s name.
