Bessie (George) Shell-Shalkowsky

Bessie Shell was returned to our Lord on February 11, 2018.  Bessie was born on December 30, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to Thomas and Jessie George.  They preceded her in death along with her husband, Julius Shalkowsky-Shell.  She is survived by her loving sister Helen (Al) Lakatos.  She was a loving Aunt to Gary (Cindy) Lakatos, Michael (Karen) Lakatos, Charlene (Dennis) Poulous, Cathleen (Bernie) Small, Christine Meier, Connie (Dave) Henninger.  A Great Aunt to Rachelle Sequin, David and Danny Lakatos, Kyle and Aaron Walz, Alex Small, Austin and Dylan Meier.  Bessie was a Great Great Aunt to Cameron and Stella Sequin, Nathan, Brennan, Justin Lakatos and Ava and Olivia Walz.  Bessie attended Wayne State University where she obtained a degree in hospital administration.  She went on to work at Grace Hospital and eventually retired from there as a well.  She loved spending time with her family and special friends.  Bessie loved to shop and enjoyed the finer things in life.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
