Gloria Jean (Taylor) Bird

Gloria Bird, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday June 21st 2017 while in her home in Fowlerville, MI. She was born October 20th, 1951 in Farmington,MI, to Ernest and Vera Taylor. Being the second oldest among 9 siblings, Gloria “pushed the envelope” while growing up, paving the way for her younger brothers and sisters. In her later years, Gloria enjoyed a peaceful life playing cards and spending time with her closest family and friends. Often when you’d visit Gloria, she’d have a big smile on her face, humming a familiar tune. Preceded in Death by her parents Ernest and Vera Taylor; her siblings Sandy Jewett, Karen Masten, and Dave Taylor. She is survived by her children Tammy Bird, and Tracy Bird; and her siblings Sherry Phinney, Carol Taylor, Dolly Varney, Denise Taylor, and Lowell Taylor. Services will be held on Saturday, June 24th at Herrmann Funeral Home 1005 East Grand River Fowlerville, MI 48836. Visitation is from 10:00 AM-1:30 PM with the Funeral Service starting at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you consider donating to the Livingston Community Mental Health Center. This center has done a lot to help Gloria and her family over the years.
