Beverly G. Kelley

Beverly Gail Kelley, aged 60, died peacefully on December 13, 2017 at her home in Howell MI, surrounded by her loving family. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through a year-long battle with cancer. Our Mom was born September 4, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Stanley and June Gilmer. Known for her strength in the face of adversity, contagious laugh, and ability to make life-long friends with anyone, Mom’s life spanned 6 decades of hope, faith, and countless memories. Mom lived a selfless life in dedication to her children, and grandchildren, never wanting more than time with those she held dear. In 2009, our Mom married the love of her life and tireless caretaker Doug Kelley. Although far too short, this chapter of our Mom’s life brought her more joy, friendships, and laughter than we could have ever hoped for. Mom was employed by Boss Engineering in Howell, MI. Words cannot describe our gratitude for the comfort these wonderful people provided her throughout her employment, and her fight with cancer. Preceded in death by her father Stanley E Gilmer, her mother June E Gilmer, and her brother James P Gilmer. Our amazing mother is survived by many loved ones including: Husband of 8 years: Doug Kelley Mother of 4 Children & Spouses: Greg and Lisa Zarycki, Ron and Amy Spiker, Kristen Zarycki, and Travis Zarycki, 4-legged son Bear. Step-Mother of 3 Children & Spouses: Steve and Diana Zarycki, Doug & Jaymie Kelley, David and Rachel Kelley Grandmother & Great Grandmother to: Madeline Briggs, Caleb Zarycki, Audrey Zarycki, Isabella Kelley, Mitchel Spiker, Paige & Zach Lewis (Ronan & Kira), Eric & Samantha Zarycki (Oliver), Christopher & Kelly Zarycki (Jordan, Makayla, Avery), Margaret & Michael Edwards (Gracie), Kevin & Lauren Zarycki Loving sister to: Alan & Lisa Gilmer Adoring Aunt and Great Aunt to: Jeanette & Dave McCollum, Kelsy & Nathan Gilmer, Kylie, Kasey, and Krystyna McCollum Loving sister-in-law to: Robert & Crissy Kelley, and Joan Kelley Contribution to the family are payable to Doug Kelley for future designation.
