Betty Noreen (Peterson) Douglass

Betty Douglass, 90, a long-time resident of Fowlerville, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2017.  Betty was born on January 1, 1927 to Reinhold and Hulda Peterson, who preceded her in death along with her husband, Wendell Douglass, and siblings Arthur Peterson and Viola Swan. She was a 1945 graduate of Dansville High School and most recently a resident of Home Sweet Home in Haslett, Michigan.  She is survived by her daughter, Penny (James) Cox of Louisville, Kentucky, her son, Gregory (Mary) Douglass of East Lansing, Michigan, grandchildren Benjamin Cox, Rachel (Wesley) McDaniel, Kayla (Josh) Warner, and Drew Douglass, great-grandchildren Sean Cox, Brantley, Cyrus, Addallee and Dawson McDaniel, and Cora Warner, and sisters Nita Church and Rita Lewis. Her funeral services will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Herrmann Funeral Home-Niblack Chapel, 1005 E. Grand River Avenue, Fowlerville. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Burial will follow her services in Greenwood Cemetery.Her family would like to thank the staff at Home Sweet Home for their special care.
